The Gardens of Peterborough are
pleased to offer on-site Physiotherapy Services provided by
Achieva Health, a recognized provider of rehabilitation services for
older adults province-wide. Achieva Health provides resident-focused
physiotherapy care that is fully covered by OHIP. Gardens of
Peterborough residents requiring treatment must obtain a physician's
referral, which we will coordinate.

As a result, residents will improve their
quality of life and enhance the performance of their day to day
activities.
Our physiotherapy services include
occupational therapy with authorizations for the Assistive Devices
Program (ADP). This is a program under which government funding is
available to provide qualifying individuals with mobility devices
such as walkers or wheelchairs.
Education sessions regarding physiotherapy
and the ADP program are periodically provided to residents and their
families.
